Lovely bakery! We stopped for lunch at this lovely bakery and had the plat de jour (chicken stroganoff). It was really delicious and terrific value for money. There were lots of other delicious treats on offer but we were too full after eating the super generous portion!

We enjoyed a pleasant break at Boulangerie Patisserie Poudevigne in Arles in the afternoon. The pastries and hot beverages were delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that they were able to communicate in English. Overall, it offered good value for money, and we would recommend stopping by for a tasty treat and warm hospitality.

Loved the petit dejeuner, which comes with bread, jam, choice of a brioche or croissant, a coffee drink and fresh squeezed orange juice. Much better than the hotel breakfasts, and the perfect size if you don't have a big appetite first thing in the morning.

Pour les viennoiseries ma faveur va au palmier. Coté pâtisserie la tarte au riz de Camargue, le pouding, l’entremet à la noix de coco, et les classiques tarte citron, gâteau au chocolat, forêt noir, entremets, etc. À éviter les chocolats qui sont sous traiter. À na pas rater les tuiles aux amandes, les sablés et les meringues. Vous trouverez aussi des salades et des croques pour midi tout aussi bien réalisés. Le service est attentif, aimable, poli, gentil et souriant et les locaux sont nickel. Il y a encore un salon pour déjeuner ou prendre le thé, un vrai plus. Enfin vous êtes au cœur de Arles et les chiens sont acceptés.Traduction
An excellent baker and pastry chef. My favorite breads: the rye pie and the einkorn ball, but the country bread and special baguettes are also very good. For pastries, my favorite is the palmier. Pastry-wise, the Camargue rice tart, the pudding, the coconut dessert, and the classic lemon tart, chocolate cake, Black Forest cake, desserts, etc. Avoid the chocolates, which are outsourced. Don't miss the almond tuiles, shortbread, and meringues. You'll also find salads and croques for lunch, which are just as well made. The service is attentive, friendly, polite, kind, and cheerful, and the premises are spotless. There's also a lounge for lunch or tea, a real plus. Finally, you're in the heart of Arles, and dogs are welcome.

Excellente pâtisserie, pour moi, la meilleure d’Arles. J’ai retrouvé le goût du nougat de mon enfance au bon goût de miel et généreux en amandes de Provence. Le pain est délicieux, vous le retrouverez à l’Arlatan, l’hôtel restaurant de la rue du sauvage. Les pâtisseries sont fines, j’y vais à chaque passage à Arles.

Excellent pastry shop, for me, the best in Arles. I rediscovered the taste of nougat from my childhood with its delicious honey flavor and generous amounts of Provençal almonds. The bread is delicious, and you'll find it at the Arlatan, the hotel restaurant on Rue du Sauvage. The pastries are exquisite; I go there every time I'm in Arles.

Si vous aimez la bonne pâtisserie et le salon de thé, allez là bas et vous serez très bien accueilli. Accueil chaleureux, souriant et les grincheux peuvent aller ailleurs : s'adonner à la diffamation, même pas franchement ! C'est la mode. Ne pas craindre de dire du bien puisque c'est vrai et se taire si on a des critiques. C'est moins lâche,non ?

If you like good pastries and tea rooms, go there and you will be very well received. Warm and smiling welcome, and the grumpy ones can go elsewhere: indulge in defamation, not even frankly! It's fashionable. Don't be afraid to say something good since it's true and keep quiet if you have criticism. It's less cowardly, right?
